The need for speed in Futsal

Everyone knows that futsal is a highly fast paced game. It is in fact considered to be one of the fastest games in the sport because the pitch area is very small and there really is no time to waste in planning an attack or something like that. Hence, it is the most essential element of the game. Furthermore, the game is played in 2 halves of 20 minutes each. Therefore, if one team is trailing behind goals, they will need to attack, attack and attack in order to level the score or to try to take the lead.

Futsal does not have the luxury of playing the ball for too long because it will only invite the opponent team to surge forward to try and steal the ball from your team. In Brazil, it is a game played by the kids before they mature into the full football game. Therefore, it is essential that in order to play futsal, you will have to start moving the ball around very quickly while knowing where your teammates are. Instinct is very important and it takes a lot of understanding in order to stage an effective attack that will end up with a goal against your opponents.
